The mission of the BUITEMS Alumni Association is to foster and strengthen the relationship between BUITEMS and its alumni; to preserve and promote the University’s purposes, Values & growth; and to keep alive the spirit of affection and reverence for our Alma mater.

OBJECTIVES

• To generate moral and financial support for BUITEMS from alumni and other
  appropriate citizen groups.
• To aid in keeping the alumni in contact with BUITEMS through the use of
  activities, events, programs and publications.
• To coordinate and implement appropriate professional, vocational, personal, cultural, and educational services for alumni.
• To encourage Alumni to serve as mentors & encourage students to pursue educational goals at BUITEMS.
• To encourage, foster and promote close relations between BUITEMS and its alumni and among the alumni themselves.
• To promote a sustained sense of belonging to the Alma Mater among the Alumni by being in regular contact with them.
• To provide and disseminate information regarding their Alma Mater, its graduates, Faculties and students to the Alumni.
• To guide and assist Alumni who have recently completed their courses of study at BUITEMS to keep them engaged in productive pursuits useful to the society.
• To provide a forum for the Alumni for exchange of ideas on academic, cultural and social issues of BUITEMS.

MEMBERSHIP

Members of the Association shall include all persons who have completed a course or degree at BUITEMS and, all persons who have received honorary degrees from BUITEMS.
Voting members of the Association (hereinafter referred to as “active members”) shall include only those members registered as members of the BUITEMS Alumni Association.
Honorary membership in the Association may be conferred upon those friends
and benefactors of BUITEMS whose services this Association desire to recognize. Such membership may be awarded by the Association’s Alumni Council.
